Very few of our members pay per session because of how cheap the membership per year is. If this is how you want to pay we normally come to a figure of £1 per session but paying yearly means you are paying less than 50p per session hence why almost all of our students do this.
£80 for the year and you can come to all of our regularly scheduled sessions, paying it at once is also the cheapest way of paying and 95% of our students do it this way.
Yes! In fact, you can come to the first 2 weeks worth of training sessions for free. We don't want to charge anyone any money until they are absolutely sure they want to stay and we think 2 weeks if enough time for most people to determine whether this style is for them or not, especially considering how varied some of our sessions are from each other.
No. You can come to as many or as few sessions as you want as a member. If you come to every session in the year you will obviously be getting more for your money. If you pay yearly it is only £80 including licencing and insurance which means if you come to every session it is less than 50p for 2 hours of training, if you only come to one a week it is still less than £2 for 2 hours of training!
Short answer: No this is not Hung Kuen or Hung Gar. Long answer: While our system does share a large number of similarities with the Hung Gar system (Shaolin history, tiger claw applications, strong stance work, etc.) we are not directly related to the style, despite having a similar name.
No, this martial art is suitable for absolute beginners. Every year we get students all the way from complete beginners to students holding teaching grades in other martial arts, this style can be practiced by anyone!
Yes! Our classes fluctuate around a 50:50 split from year to year and all genders, sexual orientation, religion, etc.. are welcome at the club.

Whilst we pay respects to our origins by using a number of Chinese phrases for moves and forms, due to Hung Leng Kuen’s varied influences we have a lot of mixed terminology from both Mandarin and Cantonese. Therefore, you might pick up some interesting phrases and terms, but will not learn a language.
